In Texas, Houston mom confesses to shaking baby | Shaken Baby Syndrome

A Houston mom has reportedly been charged with injuring her 3-month-old son because she was frustrated that the baby would not stop crying.  The woman, Keshia Debrisha Sanchez, 26, reportedly faces one count of felony injury to a child,. Her bond has been set at $30,000, court records show.

Investigators reportedly said Sanchez took her son to a Houston hospital on Nov. 3 for treatment of respiratory complications, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case. An X-ray determined that the child had three rib fractures that were healing. Memorial Hermann officials called Children's Protective Services, who notified Houston police.
