Father jailed - El Paso Texas - Shaken Baby Syndrome

Jose Manuel Brito, 27, from El Paso Texas was reportedly jailed after a 3 month old baby was taken to the hospital and showed signs of Shaken Baby Syndrome, as well as 9 broken ribs found in the healing stages. 


Jose Manuel Brito reportedly told police the baby had choked on milk, stopped breathing, and he had to perform CPR.  Jose, the father, was reportedly charged with injury to a child as the baby was taken to University Medical Center.


Jose currently remains jailed on a $100,000 bond.
